~Racing Season Begins~

Jordan is racing with the big boys this year... he has a 125 micro sprint to run this spring before quarter midgets begin. He had a rookie class this afternoon and an hour of track time. He is sharing the car with a friend of ours and the other guy went first. He had some pretty good runs and was getting more speed with each lap... then it was Jordan's turn. He was doing well on his first turn out and then the car shut off. Something about the spark plug burning a whole in the piston. They are thinking there was not enough fuel going through the line. The engine will be torn apart and rebuilt this week hoping to be ready for the first real race next Saturday.

Jared kept track of lap times...and Aaron was the photographer.... I found out later he took two pictures and a few videos even though the camera was always up at his face...um, we will have to have a long talk if he wants to keep his job!

It was a nice night while the sun was still up... it got cold quick after dark. I left earlier then the big guys to get the little people home, bathed and in bed.

I did see this poor guy loose his wing!

We also saw one of the four wheelers flip and land on the guy riding it. Yikes!

We will be racing somewhere almost every weekend from now until the end of October... let the fun begin!
